If Ron Burgundy rode a bicycle, and true to form, insisted on staying classy, San Diego, this would be it. Yes, we are in North County San Diego and also yes, the Soulville oozes class. With a tightly spaced twin top tube, classy augments retro while eco-friendly componentry is a head nod and proud first step toward sustainability in the bike industry: 100% recycled tires, 100% recycled inner tubes, rice-husk composite pedals, rice-husk composite grips, and a reused-materials saddle proves that eco-friendly is still financially sustainable too. Green living for all we say, while Ron Burgundy says "I'm kinda a big deal," and so is the Soulville.
Eco-friendly rice husk particulate grips and pedals are sustainably manufactured using rice field waste product
100% recycled 650 x 44 tires and inner tubes provide a supple, sustainable footprint for a smooth ride
Saddle borrows eco-friendly materials and manufacturing process from the Chinese sharing bicycle market--proving overseas manufacturing can be done responsibly and inexpensively
Classic vintage 3-piece crankset furthers the Soulville's heritage looks
This is the first bike I've had as an adult, spending $490 on a bike was a bit tough BUT I can say it was worth it! The basket is exactly what I loved about a beach cruiser, but this has gears which makes riding around the hilly parts of town much easier. Very happy!
